New additions to SEA staff include Political Director Melissa Bernardin, Organizing Director Wes McEnany and IT Specialist Michael McCarthy.
SEA/SEIU Local 1984 has added three new staff members in recent weeks, and we hope you’ll join us in welcoming them. The three positions are critical to our growth, and we’re confident the new additions will help us win for working people.
Michael McCarthy joined us in August as our new Information Technology Specialist. He brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise that will help increase member engagement and aid our ambitious external organizing initiatives. You can reach him at mmccarthy@seiu1984.org.
Melissa Bernardin joined us last week as our new Political Director after years leading efforts with nonprofits – including America Votes and PrioritiesNH – to identify and develop advocates and leaders. In her role, she’ll draw from her extensive lobbying and organizing background to help members drive our political initiatives. You can reach her at mbernardin@seiu1984.org.
Finally, Wes McEnany joined us this week as our new Organizing Director. He’s worked for the SEIU for the last 10 years leading national campaigns as well as local organizing efforts. Here at the SEA, he’ll draw on that experience to build member power in our existing units and grow our union through the organization of new units. You can reach him at wmcenany@seiu1984.org.
