Members set to head to Trouble Makers School

A group of SEA/SEIU Local 1984 members is set to join labor leaders and activists at the Labor Notes Trouble Makers School in Worcester, Mass., on Saturday, June 1. The SEA reached out to chapter leaders recently offering to cover the cost for the training, and the 15 available spots filled up quickly.

Trouble Makers School brings together rank and file union members and activists to learn and share how we can fight back against structural inequality in our work lives. You’ll learn new methods for fixing problems in your department, organizing co-workers to take action, building real power in your workplace.

While this session filled up quickly, we’d like to gauge interest in a future session. Please enter your information on this form to let us know whether you’d be interested. You can see the full workshop description provided by the Labor Notes professionals for the June 1 session to get an idea of what it would include.
