Chapter Nominations

In order to be eligible to vote or to hold office in Chapter Elections, a person must be a Member (in good standing) no later than 5:00 PM February 2, 2022. To join the SEA, please contact your Chapter President or complete the Membership Application Form.

Chapters will elect Officers:

  • President,
  • Vice President,
  • Secretary, and
  • Treasurer (or combined Secretary/Treasurer position),

…and Councilors and Alternate Councilors. Please follow this link to see more about Chapter roles.

If your Chapter voted to have a two-year election cycle, but have not changed your Chapter’s by-laws through the required procedure, you must hold your elections annually until those changes are complete. Failure to hold chapter elections could result in not being seated at the Annual Convention.

See here if you’re unclear whether your Chapter has elections this year.

Self-Nomination Forms (below) must be received at the SEA by 5:00 PM on February 25, 2022. Write-ins are not allowed in this election.

If you wish to run for a Chapter seat and have it appear on the ballot, please put your name on the line below and check the position(s) for which you want to run. NOTE: If you are considering Vice-President, Secretary, or Treasurer, please also run for a Councilor or Alternate Councilor position. Only the Chapter President and Councilors (or their alternates) may vote at Council Meetings and Convention. You may be both a Councilor and a Chapter Officer.

This must be submitted no later than February 12th. *PLEASE CHECK ONLY ONE BOX FOR EITHER COUCILOR OR ALTERANATE COUNCILOR. If both are checked, they will void each other out.
