Some, but not all, SEA/SEIU Local 1984 chapters will hold chapter-level elections in early 2020. In order to be eligible to vote or to run for office in chapter elections, you must be on the membership List no later than 5 p.m. Feb. 3, 2020.
Chapters holding elections this year will elect President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer (or Secretary/Treasurer if bylaws allow), Councilors and Alternate Councilors.

Self Nomination forms must be received at the SEA office, 207 N. Main St., Concord, by 5 p.m. on Feb. 19, 2020. Write-in candidates are not allowed.

The SEA office will mail ballots no later than Feb. 23, 2020. You must return your ballot to the SEA office, 207 N. Main Street, Concord, NH 03301, by 5 p.m. on March 30, 2020, or postmarked no later than March 30, 2020.
If your chapter voted to have a 2-year election cycle but have not changed your chapter’s by-laws through the required procedure, you must hold your elections annually until those changes are made. Failure to hold chapter elections could result in not being seated at the Annual Convention.
