Fisher Cats - Sea Dogs Tickets Available

The Social Activities Committee is making tickets available for two games between the
NH Fisher Cats and the
Portland Sea Dogs this summer. The Fisher Cats are the Double-A (Eastern League) affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays... the Sea Dogs are the affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. Thus, it will be a great opportunity to root for either the local club or the Red Sox club... or, if you would prefer, root for both teams.
For the Red Sox fans among you, the Sea Dogs are currently blessed to have two of the Red Sox top five prospects on its roster:
First baseman Lars Anderson, from California, is their top prospect (and one of the Top Twenty prospects in baseball)... he is a patient, left-handed hitter whose swing is tailor-made for Fenway Park, similar to Freddy Lynn and Mo Vaughn -- except he will hit for more power than Lynn and a better batting average than Vaughn. Baseball scouts believe he will be playing for the Red Sox no later than the end of next season, so this year will be your chance to see him play while the cost of seeing him in person is still very affordable.
Outfielder Josh Reddick, from Georgia, is the organization's #5 prospect (and among the Top Fifty in baseball)... he, too, is a left-handed hitter but "patience" is not a word regularly associated with him. He describes his approach as "see the ball, hit the ball". In Portland's first four games of the 2009 season, he has already clobbered three home runs. He is also one of the best defensive players in the minor leagues. He is regularly compared to former Red Sox outfielder Trot Nixon for his grit... and his strong, acccurate arm has drawn comparisons to former Red Sox outfielder Dwight Evans. Baseball scouts believe he is destined to join the Red Sox either next year or in 2011.
Tickets are available for both the June 27th and August 29th games (Saturday evening games scheduled for 6PM at MerchantsAuto.com Stadium, in Manchester). Both games will be followed by fireworks displays.
THERE ARE A LIMITED NUMBER OF TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR EACH GAME...
- a few seats located directly behind home plate are available for both games, only $11 apiece.
- seats in the first two rows of Section 100 - right on the field - are available for the June 27th game and are only $5 apiece
- seats in Section 107 - behind the on-deck circle on the third base line - are available for the August 29th game and are $11 apiece.
(NOTE: the SEA will not provide transportation to either game).
